Dr. Megan Behan is one of our incredible and knowledgeable dentists that we are so fortunate to have working here at The Parks Dentistry. Having previously attended Prince Andrew High School, Dr. Megan graduated with a Bachelor of Science from MSVU on the Dean’s List and graduated from Dalhousie Dental School in 2016.
She has been working with us since 2019 and came to us because she loved the vision of our clinic and brought along her remarkably high level of patient care with her. With her sweet demeanor, unparalleled patience and endless kindness, Dr. Megan loves helping her patients see that a visit to the dentist doesn’t have to be scary.
We ultimately have Dr. Megan’s childhood dentist to thank for bringing her to dentistry, as he encouraged her to watch him work and that’s how she fell in love with the profession. Before Covid (BC), Megan loved travelling. Nowadays, Megan also loves spending time at home, giving all the love to her adopted 11-year-old calico cat named Kallie. And before you ask, yes, Kallie is as cute as she sounds.
A few fun facts about Dr. Megan are that she is a Scorpio (don’t hold that against her), that she used to play clarinet and that she worked at a jewelry store for ten years before starting dental school. With all this to unpack about our dear Dr. Megan, all we can say is what the jewelry world lost that fateful day when she decided to start her path to dentistry, we gained tenfold!
